Time to roll out the barrel and discover unique suds & ales! The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin presents the 12th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest on October 11 & 12, 2019. American specialty beers from around the nation will be available for participants to sample and savor.

Presented by The Village of Baytowne Wharf, this year’s weekend long events will have even more ways for you to enjoy your favorite brew.

On Friday, October 11th, our Beer From Around Here event is back! Join us for an intimate evening and a pre- grand tasting party! This night will be filled with samplings of local brews and food from our merchants, and live music on the lawn! Limited Number of tickets available. All the fun is form 6-8pm.

We also are bringing back our VIP party on Saturday, October 12th, which happens right before the main event! VIP ticket holders will have an all-inclusive package this year with a tasty lunch at Slick Lips Seafood & Oyster House, exclusive beer not at the festival, and the option to skip the lines and walk right in to the main event! We do have a limited amount of tickets for this event, so don't wait to purchase! 1-2pm

Our main on Saturday October 12th from 2-6pmevent will feature more than 200 domestic and international craft beers available for sampling. Brewery representatives will be available at the event, offering an opportunity to learn about the different types of lagers and ales from a variety of styles. Live entertainment will be also featured during the festival with Luke Langford Band from 2-4pm, and then The Shakedown from 4:30-6:30pm.

All ticket holders will be provided a Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest tasting glass for sampling. Enjoy live music from Luke Langford Band 2-4pm and The Shakedown 4:30pm-6:30pm!

Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival partners with the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center, Fisher House of the Emerald Coast & Sandestin Foundation for Kids and donates a part of the festival proceeds to them.

Be part of the action! Volunteers are needed for the Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival.

There are an assortment of times and positions available for individuals interested in volunteering. Each volunteer will be required to attend a meeting prior to the festival and will be given a t-shirt to wear during their assigned shift.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is always open to the public. Non-ticket holders are welcome to attend the event.

This October, The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort will be rolling out the barrels as beer enthusiasts from all over the Gulf Coast descend on Sandestin, Florida, for the 12th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest. Taking place Friday and Saturday, October 11-12, 2019, the beer festival will feature a variety of unique suds from all over the world while highlighting the local craft scene of Florida’s Emerald Coast. The main event will feature more than 50 breweries with close to 200 domestic and international craft beers for sampling.

“This festival has quickly become a one-of-a kind event in the region,” says Leighann Elliott, Event Manager. “The Village provides the perfect backdrop for fun-in-the sun and strolling the charming streets while enjoying live music and a wide range of beer. It makes for a very memorable experience for tourists and locals,” she says.

This year’s Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest will feature three events, the first of which kicks off Friday evening at the Village Event Plaza. From 6 – 8 p.m., Beer From Around Here showcases local Emerald Coast brews in addition to samplings from some of the great restaurants in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. One of the festival’s more intimate events, Beer From Around Here will be limited to 200 attendees and will also feature live music.

On Saturday, October 12, the festival is offering a little something special for attendees—VIP ticket holders can get a head start with exclusive beer tastings and delicious bites at the VIP tasting event that runs from 1 to 2 p.m. The VIP ticket is all-inclusive of Saturday’s events and allows ticketholders to beat the line to the main event.

Saturday’s main event, the Craft Beer Tasting, runs from 2 – 6 p.m. In addition to pouring samples of nearly 200 beers, the 50+ breweries will also have brewery representatives on hand to share information about the unique ales, lagers, pilsners, stouts, sours, and more. The main event also features live music all afternoon.

“Beer lovers are turning toward craft beers for that full-flavored taste and unique flavor profiles that are not in your typical beer. Local craft breweries offer fresh, great-tasting beer and the opportunity to make connections and meet the brewers,” says Elliott. “We are also very excited to be introducing home brews to this year’s festival.”
