Update – Sunday Memorial Day Fireworks Cancelled
Event organizers have cancelled fireworks planned for Sunday, May 27th due to the threat of Tropical Storm Alberto. Children activities originally scheduled for Sunday have been moved to Saturday evening, May 26th. The fireworks show will be rescheduled at a later time this year.
Festivities will now begin on Saturday, May 26th, as Farewell Angelina takes the events plaza stage at 7 p.m. Baytowne Wharf will also host free children activities from 6-9 p.m.
Baytowne Wharf is still planning to host local favorites Coconut Radio on Sunday, May 27th from 7-9 pm. They also are still preparing to host the veterans from the Sandestin Owners Association for a special Memorial Day ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday, May 28th.
Baytowne Wharf will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and will post any updates as needed.
