The Village of Baytowne Wharf is gearing up for Mardi Gras and Gumbo! Dates coming up in the Village not to be missed:
Baytowne Bubbly: Thursday Jan 25 @ 5pm
Baytowne Mardi Gras Dog Parade: Sunday Feb 11 @ 2pm
Fat Tuesday Baytowne Bash: Tuesday Feb 13 @ 5pm
Sandestin Gumbo Festival: Feb 16 & 17
Baytowne Bubbly: Thursday Feb 22 5-7pm
MARDI GRAS parades
Let the good times roll this Mardi Gras Season at The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin. Festivities kick off Sunday, Feb 11 at 2 pm with the 15th annual Mardi Gras Dog Parade. This year's theme is Bone Appetit!
Then come out for Fat Tuesday Baytowne Bash Parade on Tuesday, February 13th at 5 pm. Unique and colorful floats, golf carts, and pick-up trucks roll down the streets. Participants dress in their Mardi Gras best, and shower parade-goers with a barrage of beads, moon-pies, and other trinkets.
Both parades are free to attend. 100% of all entry fees from the two parades are donated to Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Prepare to let your hair down on what many call the most festive day of the year, Fat Tuesday! "Laissez les bon temps rouler" (let the good times roll) with the 16th annual Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Parade. Unique and colorful floats, golf carts, and pick-up trucks roll down the streets. Dress in your Mardi Gras best, and shower parade goers with a barrage of beads, moon-pies, and other trinkets. The post-parade celebration continues into the night with street performers, "throws" tossed from balconies and parties at various village merchants.
GUMBO
On the heels of Mardi Gras is the 29th annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival on President's Day Weekend Feb 16 & 17! One of the best local festivals of the entire year!!!! Not to be missed.... Who got da gumbo this year?
Wednesday Night Concert Series 2018 kicks off in March! Wednesday nights in the Events Plaza from 7 til 9pm:
