The 6th Annual Holiday Lantern Parade is coming up at The Village of Baytowne Wharf Saturday, Dec. 12 at 6pm! Come out of the beautiful parade festivities. You can register to participate by making your own paper lantern and walking in the parade.

Tuba Christmas | 5pm
Holiday Lantern Parade | 6pm
Playground Music Center presents a Tuba Christmas where over 30 brass instruments play all the holiday classics. Followed by our 6th Annual Holiday Lantern Parade where decorated paper lanterns and golf carts stroll the streets. And then visit with Santa as you enjoy live music on stage.

Bring holiday spirit to Baytowne! Join us for the 6th Annual Holiday Lantern Parade! The parade will roll through The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Saturday, December 12th at 6pm. Participants are invited to walk with their handmade paper lanterns, or drive their decorated golf carts and help bring holiday cheer to The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Create your own paper lantern for the parade at our Abrakadoodle workshop beginning at 4:30pm before the event on December 12th.
Parade Information: •
Line-up for the parade will begin no later than 5:15pm at the Grand Lawn
At 6pm, the walkers and golf carts will begin the parade route from the Grand to Market Street, turn right and travel on Fisherman’s Cove, and then walk or ride down Cannery Lane. A parade map will be sent to all participants
Throws and candy for the crowd are encouraged but not required
Your light source for your lantern must not be flame based
Paperlanternstore.com is a good source for battery operated lights and pre-made lanterns
And of course, have lots of fun!
Golf Cart Requirements:
All participants must decorate and light up their golf cart •
Use of any motorized vehicle must be previously approved (Exception: Sandestin Homeowner Participants may use their golf carts.)
We will end in Golf Cart Parking where you can park and enjoy an evening at The Village of Baytowne Wharf
Participants will be judged and awarded based on best holiday décor:
Prize Money:
1 st Place: $100
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $50
