ARTSQUEST FINE ARTS SHOW PREVIEW NIGHT GALA FEATURES 'ART IN BLOOM' AND WALTON COUNTY'S BUDDING ART STUDENTS

The ArtsQuest Fine Arts Show will begin a day early this year with all artists open for business on Friday, May 8 from 4:00 pm ? 7:00 pm. All are welcome to the Village of Baytowne Wharf to enjoy art and live music throughout the evening.

But if you want to enjoy ArtsQuest in high style, don?t miss the ArtsQuest Preview Night Gala on Friday, May 8 from 5:00 pm ? 7:00 pm in the Tupelo Courtyard across from the Marlin Grill in the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Along with delectable treats and wine from Marlin Grill, gala attendees will enjoy ?Art in Bloom,? a fresh flower exhibit by Albert F?s and get a first peek at the artwork of hundreds of Walton County?s budding young art students that will be on display in the Tupelo Courtyard throughout the weekend.

I hope Jennifer and all the other great people associated with Artsquest are putting their feet up and relaxing! We came at the end, and it was a nice finish to Mother's Day!

I wanted to mention the schools that participated in the Student Art Exhibition. We started working with them back before Christmas, and asked the art teachers to select works to exhibit at Artsquest in May. Seven proud art teachers took the time to make sure their students' art was seen by a huge crowd of art lovers!

If you didn't attend Artsquest, you missed a really great event, AND the amazing work of our Walton County art students! Thanks to these schools and teachers, and if you see them today, thank them for their efforts!
