The Town Planters Society of Freeport is having its annual Arts & Craft Festival, Saturday, March 24, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., in conjunction with planting Arbor Day trees. Join them at the Freeport City Hall for fun, great food and amazing vendors. There will be a silent auction and sale of tickets for prizes to be given away through out the day. There will be face painting and a football toss for the younger patrons and the Woodturning Guild will be demonstrating. A number of local artists will be showing in a variety of medium. Bring your appetites because there will be a lot to choose from - cheesecake on a stick, funnel cakes, snow cones, nachos, curly fries, cotton candy, corn dogs to award winning BBQ and more.
