An Inspiring Study Of Different Artists
Starting Wednesdays in October, Compass Rose Academy
will be offering three age appropriate art classes for the
children of our area. We will teach two sessions of five
weeks each for children ages 2 through 13. Each week,
children will learn about a famous artist from the past or
present and learn how to create art in the style of that
artist. Throughout each session students will be able to
create high quality works of art using a variety of mediums
(paint, pastel, etc.) and surfaces (glass, paper, canvas,
etc.). Students will be inspired by viewing each artist’s work
of art and will be encouraged to create something new
that they can call their own!
Session 1:
Oct 2nd – Oct. 30th
Session 2:
Nov. 6th – Dec. 11th (No Class Nov. 27th)
Cost:
$125 per session
Time:
2:30 – 3:15pm – 3-year-old students
3 – 4 pm – 4, 5, & 6-year-old students
4:15 – 5:15 pm – 7,8, & 9-year-old students
5:30 – 6:30 pm – 10,11,12, & 13-year-old students
