Archaeology for Kids at E.O.Wilson Biophilia Center will take place Saturday, February 1st from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Biophilia teams up with Florida Public Archaeology Network to bring you hands on educational fun with special programs at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Kids activities throughout the day include: Create your own artifact; Cookie excavation; Sifting through history; Garbology-the study of trash; Cave painting; Learn to throw an atlatl ancient spear; Underwater Archaeology; and Live animal ambassadors.
