Anybody know of a good handyman who can get a washing machine back up and running?

DO NOT USE A & E! They advertise in the local phone books. They stood me up on an appointment after a renter broke our dishwasher. I looked online, and these people have many, many complaints against them. Like people ordering parts, having to pay upfront, and then A & E never showing up to do the repair.

I called the appliance store where we bought all of our appliances. I think that's the best thing to do. They were more responsive than anyone else.

I used Terry's in Santa Rosa(I think). Will look for the info. Very nice and prompt--fair price.

Sears has a great service department, have you thought of calling them? They repair most brands and they cover the SoWal area.

Dixon did show up, the call was $50. Guy had to order a part to finish the job. Will keep you posted!

I have used Davis Appliances out of Panama City. They are excellent. Shelly is very helpful.

Woke up this a.m. to an oven that didn't work. Called Gene Alden Appliance Repair around 10:30 am he said he'd be here by lunch time. Been, repaired, job done! Price was very reasonable as well!
