Alicia Ann Leonard: May You Rest in Peace

Dearest SoWal Friends:

We are so sad to learn that our good friend Alicia Ann Leonard has died from sudden cardiac arrest on Saturday morning. We are just receiving this news. I wanted to get the word out to all of her many friends. Her husband Clint Mahl has asked that we post our love and memories on her Facebook timeline. I don't have any further information right now.

I am shocked and sad to lose this amazing, courageous, brilliant and funny woman who is ALWAYS there with us and for us. She joins her great friend Elisa Arnona Smith and her mother who she missed so much. May these fearless women watch over the rest of us. Rest dear Alicia. You will be so missed by so many people from your community.

I'm going to miss you in the world. Especially your every day sharing of random life, precious dogs, words of love and wisdom, and funny things. A fearless writer with so much talent. Gone too soon.
