Celebrate animals and humans this weekend! Find your new best friend with adoption specials and giveaways, learn how to join our team of amazing volunteers at the “job” fair, and participate in a 5K Fun Run/Walk!
5K TRAIL RUN & 1-MILE FUN RUN
9 AM
Join us March 18 for a family-friendly 5k Fun Run/Walk at Alaqua Animal Refuge's new 100-acre facility! There will also be a 1 mile event for children. Race tickets are $25 per person or $100 per family.
Proceeds benefit Alaqua. After the 5k, stick around for Alaqua's Adoption Event and Volunteer Drive from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.!

ADOPTION EVENT & VOLUNTEER DRIVE

The community is invited to meet, interact, and learn more about adopting one of Alaqua’s available animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and farm animals! Staff and members of our dedicated volunteer team will also be available to answer questions and sign up those interested in volunteering with us.
There will be food trucks, educational booths (animal well-being, preventative care, enrichment, and our Young Rescuers Program), dog training tips, guided tours of the Refuge, and nature trail tours throughout the afternoon.
Come celebrate with us...for the love of animals!
