The public is invited to an art reception at NFSC South Walton Center Fri, Feb. 19, 5-7pm. A+ Honor Roll art showcases 7 local artists with an exhibit running through Apr. 22..
The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County and the A+ Art Series Committee announce an invitational winter show entitled A+ Honor Roll.
The show is to be held at the Northwest Florida State College South Walton Center, opening Friday, February 19th with a reception from 5:00PM to 7:00PM and running through Friday, April 22nd.
The A+ Honor Roll exhibit recognizes the local artists whose talents were awarded during the 2015 Top of the Class juried show, including the Merit Award, Honorable Mentions and People’s Choice Award.
The featured artists are Heather Clements, Anne Hugghins, Theresia McInnis, Lori Drew, Susan Alfieri, Margaret Garrett and Rosalyn O’Grady. Each artist will exhibit three pieces of work.
“These artists’ life-like Watercolors and enigmatic Oils celebrate the vibrancy along the Emerald Coast,” says Andrea Scurto, show coordinator. “This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to see beautiful work by some of our most talented local artists.”
The Northwest Florida State College South Walton Center is located at 109 Greenway Trail, off Hwy. 331 South, in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
