We come down every year, but have never been there over 4th of July. Can you tell us where we should go to see fireworks and/or a parade? We're staying in Rosemary Beach and have kids with us. Thanks!

You must see the Grayton Beach parade in the AM. Funky-awesome! Then you must watch the Seaside fireworks. You don't have to park in Seaside to see them (thankfully because parking will be impossible there from my experiences). We watch them from Seagrove.

Oh, and plan on cooking where you are staying unless you want to wait forever for a table. Exception is Shoo Mama's because since it's on US 98, it doesn't get packed like the places on 30A. Give it a try. Trust me, you'll wait much longer for a table on 30A than the 15-20 minutes it'll take you to drive there. The ribs are good and the diablo burger with fried jalapenos and slaw is my fave.

Have funn!
