Outdoor movie: action-adventure Nicolas Cage film, "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" on the Holl Building Lawn.
Saturday, February 13, 12pm
Hands Across the Sand - Help protect our coastlines and waterways from near shore drilling by joining community members on the beaches of South Walton. The event begins at 12pm. Seaside is a host venue and will have parking and beach access.
Saturday, February 13, 2-4pm
Seaside is hosting its Fourth Annual Kids Mardi Gras Celebration. The family parade starts at 2pm in front of 4KIDS on the south side of 30A. Kids are invited to visit the 4KIDS store between 10am and 2pm to make mardi gras masks and crafts.
Celebrate all around town to the beat of The Michael Foster Project, a brass band from Baton Rouge, blasting the rhythm and sounds of New Orleans through the streets of Seaside. The Michael Foster Project will perform in the Mardi Gras parade at 2:00pm and then make their way around town performing until 4:00pm. Intimate Valentine's Day concert at Seaside Meeting Hall Theatre with performance byRoman Street, an energetic band out of Mobile, Alabama, dabbling in the arts of “new” flamenco, smooth and not-so-smooth jazz, and its own brand of fusion style music with a spontaneous approach to musical expression. Arrive early - seating is limited. Doors will open at 5pm.
