45 Central celebrates the wine bar's Artist of the Month Justin Gaffrey. You're invited to come out and meet Justin at the artist reception on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 5-7pm in Seaside, Florida. See some of Justin's incredible works exhibited at 45 Central. Enjoy the evening on the square in Seaside with light hors d'oeuvres served for guests. It's happy hour with half off wine by the glass.
This is a very special time and place to see Justin's work as it is the former location of Justin Gaffrey Art Gallery. It's also an exciting time as Justin reflects on 15 years creating art in South Walton, Florida. Beginning with “folk art” style works, Justin soon moved to a much more textured impressionistic style of work. He credits a viewing of Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” as the epiphany that sent him searching for a medium and a technique that would allow him to achieve the deeply textured work he crafts today. While the subject matter is varied, his works are all reflections of the beauty he finds in the natural world that surrounds him daily along Highway 30-A and throughout South Walton. His work is now widely collected and graces venues throughout the United States. Justin creates only original works and sells them exclusively through his Gallery in Blue Mountain Beach, Florida.
