3rd Annual Kids Fishing Tournament @ Grayton Beach. Sat May 9th
The South Walton Chapter of the Florida Coastal Conservation Association is planning to hold the 3rd Annual Kids Fishing Tournament on Grayton Beach, on Saturday May 9th from 8am to 12pm.
On March 17th we finally received word that another 200 rods and reels are on their way, courtesy of Fish Florida www.fishfloridatag.org.
As in years past registration is FREE OF CHARGE and all registered participants under the age of 15 will receive a FREE fishing rod and reel in addition to a variety of other fishing tackle and gear.
Divsions shall include Boys and Girls groups, and ages 5-8, 9-12, 13-15
All divison winners will have their names and photographs printed in the local newspapers!
This event has proven to be wildly popular with local kids, as well as visiting families, and has grown to nearly 150 participants in the first two years! The real beauty, however, is that this a FREE EVENT and it's the participation and support of the local community that makes this event such a success.
Anybody interested in volunteering time or resources, or looking for additional information about the 2009 Kids Fishing Tournament, please contact Neill by phone (850)267-9027 or email southwaltoncca@hotmail.com as soon as possible.
Thanks!
