30A Songwriters Festival
January 15-17, 2010
Songwriters from across the country, some famous, some just starting out, will converge in Walton County on Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend for the inaugural 30-A Songwriters Festival, produced by the Cultural Arts Association. Many existing restaurants, bars and other businesses along Scenic Highway 30-A will host over 50 artists who will share their diverse songwriting talents throughout the weekend.
The Cultural Arts Association of Walton County is organizing and operating the Festival.
[Submissions will be accepted through Sonicbids, beginning May 15, 2009 - August 18, 2009. Accepted artists will be notified by September 18, 2009. The event will feature approximately 60 songwriters].
The festival is building on one of this area's strengths?the small, intimate scale?by hosting shows in several of the area's unique bars and resturants, as well as the local theatre and the Rosemary Beach Town Hall. Some venues are classic beach joints and others are more elegant.
