A stellar season of 8 nationally touring Broadway and Artist shows plus a special concert event from Las Vegas will appear for the 2013-14 season at the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center, located on the Niceville campus of Northwest Florida State College.
All the 1,650 seats in the mainstage theater at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center are no more than 90 feet from the stage - making every seat "the best seat in the house," at the $25 million state-of-the-art performance venue that is a true cultural gem of the Emerald Coast! Each of the 8 nationally touring shows appears at 7:30 p.m. for one performance only. Individual ticket prices vary from $25 to $49 based on the show.
The national season starts October 12 with the live concert extravaganza - "This is The 60's"to celebrate the college's 50th Anniversary , and continues with mega hits such as "Momma Mia" on October 15, "The Addams Family" on November 12, "Hello Dolly! Starring Sally Struthers" on November 25, the new Broadway hit about the birth of rock 'n roll "Memphis"on February 22. The Mattie Kelly Arts Center season also features a stunning tribute to military heroes who have earned the Medal of Honor, "Beyond Glory" on October 28, as well as the world renowned "Spencer's Theatre of Illusion" on December 14 and the breathtaking human fireworks and aerial stunts of "Bring It On."
