18th Annual Festival of the Arts in Destin Oct 26 & 27

Recognized as one of Northwest Florida’s premier fine art shows, over 100 juried artists from around the country will gather in the Cultural Arts Village to showcase their art and compete for cash prizes. An 18 year tradition, this Destin art festival brings together some of the best local talent as well as artists from around the country.

Explore a diverse palette of offerings, including: acrylic, clay, collage, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, mosaic, oil, pen and ink, photography, digital art, pastel, pottery, sculpture, fiber, textile, wood and watercolor. Meet the artists, discover their inspiration, and add to your own collection.

Live musical entertainment from the Dugas Pavilion overlooking the Village Green will be a highlight of the 18th annual art festival. Other festival features include a bistro-style food court, Kid’s ArtStop and festival merchandise. The Collaborative Art Exhibit showcases over 40 community artists representing local students and adults.

The 2013 Festival of the Arts, Oct. 26-27, promises to be one of the best! With a new home at the Mattie Cultural Arts Village, artists tents will landscape the Village Green and live music will be featured on the new Dugas Pavilion with alfresco dining adjacent to the stage. Live musical entertainment from the Dugas Pavilion overlooking the Village Green will be a highlight of the 18th annual art festival.
