13TH ANNUAL Via Colori?

Italian Street Painting Festival
benefiting the Seaside Neighborhood School

Saturday, September 18, 2010
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Grand Boulevard at Sandestin Town Center

The 13th Annual Via Colori? Italian Street Painting Festival will be held at the Grand Boulevard at Sandestin Town Center, between Fusion Art Glass Gallery and Mitchell?s Fish Market on Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 10 a.m. ? 6:00 p.m. Come see spectacular artists transform the streets of Grand Boulevard Town Center into an artist?s canvas of paintings.

The festival is sponsored by area businesses and individuals that have purchased pavement space on which artists of many styles and talents will create original works of art. Enjoy watching artists as they transform a drab piece of pavement into a vibrant, colorful masterpiece and listen to live music.

A silent auction will include many talented artist masterpieces, results to be announced at 4 p.m.

Via Colori?, The Street Painting Festival, is a special event which raises funds for not-for-profit organizations throughout the United States, for more information see Via Colori - Street Painting Festival for Non-Profit Fundraising Events.

Via Colori? will turn the street around Grand Boulevard Town Center into an artist's canvas of paintings. This is a rare opportunity for people to see artists work and an opportunity for artists to come together and create. During this one-day event, hundreds of visitors come and view the beautiful artwork, enjoy the creativity, and listen to live music.

All proceeds benefit the Seaside Neighborhood School. As one of the first five charter schools in Florida, this public school focuses on personalizing each student's educational plan through the use of innovative instructional strategies and technology. Public funding received through the school's charter status roughly covers teacher salaries. Funds for technology, art, music, books, supplies, robotics, etc., must be provided through a variety of fundraising efforts like Via Colori?.
