1099 Forms

Is there anywhere near 30-A where I can get 1099 forms for tax year 2013? I know I can drive into Destin to the Office Max, but I was hoping to get some around here.

On a related note, if anyone has 1099s they need done and don't feel like doing them yourselves, I can put them together for you in exchange for a few blank forms if not many. Reasonable, negotiable price if it's a lot of them.

Ken, go on line to IRS.gov and you can down load and print from your home

The 1099 is not a downloadable form. It's shown on the IRS web site for informational purposes only. Click on 1099 at the site and you will see the notice. You have to get the scannable ones.
I haven't found any closer than the big office stores. If you only need one or two it's a waste of money - you have to buy the whole pack. Or you can order from the IRS and wait for them to show up.

Even the Wal-Mart on 98 doesn't carry them. That surprised me.

I think you can print one out from most tax software can't you?

The forms are free from the IRS. Just go to the website and add to your cart and they will mail them to you. No need to drive anywhere or buy them from an Office Supply store.
