Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
I can only see her going clockwise no matter how long I stare at her or where I stare (I tried staring at the foot and the shadow). But then again I only stared for a minute so maybe it takes longer. Anyhooo, where did you find her, SJ? Is there an Internet link? I'd like to show this to some people and see what they do with it.

I am right brained based on the description, which describes me well.

Paula, I found it when searching for images of "dirty santa." I found a great card in the images of Santa pooping down a chimney with a caption something like, "You know if you've been naughty when..." I clicked on the link, and it took me to a website which had this, but the card on which I clicked had been removed -- probably the Santa Police confiscated it.

I was finally able to get her to spin the opposite direction, at will, by focusing on one of the corners of my computer monitor.

I love reading the comments. One thing I notice which we do, is that we think that we are controlling the way she spins. She simply spins, with or without our willing her to do so. Even in my description in the prior sentence, I note, "she simply spins." In reality, it is merely a two-dimensional figure created by a series of images and she isn't spinning at all. I love this kind of stuff.

You mean that when I get her to spin in the opposite direction that everyone else isn't seeing the same flip-flop? :rotfl:

:rotfl:Nope, but I do remember Echelon creating a website of a mock house, which they set up with internet controls on things such as lights and blinds. They set up live webcams in the rooms, and you could go to their site and open and close the blinds and turn on and off the lights. Echelon sold the controls and switches. I haven't heard more about the company in the last 8 years, but with the right security, it might be a very cool thing. Can't remember if you turned off the iron, or locked the front door, or shut the window? Check your crackBerry to see if you did. If you didn't, click a few buttons and Wah-La! You're set.

I did it! I feel so proud... :D

I had to *blur* my vision until I was almost cross-eyed, like I was looking at a Magic Eye picture (which I could never see either) and it worked... until I blinked.
